Staff Accountant:

Expanding public accounting firm providing accounting & tax services to German, Austrian, and other European owned entities doing business in the U.S., is looking for a staff accountant.

Job requirements:

• At least 2 years of accounting experience (public accounting experience a plus)
• Strong GAAP
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (German language skills a plus)
• Experience with QuickBooks software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Keen attention to detail

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Tax return preparation
• Sales / use tax filings
• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Account reconciliations
• Bank statement reconciliation
• Prepare journal entries
• Payroll processing
• Expense reports
• Prepare month-end reporting
